About US

We learned a few things the hard way, so you don't have to.

We're Trevor and Bridgett Dunbar — and if we're being honest, the fact that we're still standing is evidence enough that God is real and what we teach actually works.

Between the two of us we've walked through financial collapse, betrayal by people closest to us, the death of a child, a spouse lost to mental illness, court battles, divorce, and seasons so dark that most people would have quit. We didn't. Not because we're special — but because in the depths of all of it, we found something that changed everything. We found out who we actually were.

Trevor's Story

Trevor came to faith in his early twenties while building what looked like a perfect life from the outside — lieutenant in the fire department, successful business owner, married with four kids, council member and leader in his local church. But on the inside something was gnawing at him. He was grinding himself to the bone, drifting without real purpose, and reading scripture that described a kingdom of power and intimacy with God that looked nothing like what he was experiencing in church or in his Christian circles.

That tension sent him on a search. He read over 200 books, hired mentors, attended workshops and retreats, and began seeing a much bigger picture of the kingdom than he had ever been shown. In that process he felt God calling him out — out of the fire department, out of his business, out of his position at the church — to start a discipleship network and resource cooperative outside the mainstream religious system.

He left everything. And was immediately met with opposition from every direction — family, friends, his pastor, and eventually circumstances that stripped him down to nothing. The day after Christmas 2007 he stood in his driveway watching the repo man tow away his last vehicle. Two weeks from eviction. House in foreclosure. Negative bank account. No income. A wife and four young kids inside. Miles from anyone he knew.

What followed was more than a decade of rebuilding — up and down, up and down — learning how to hear God in new ways, letting a new identity be forged in the fire, and eventually stepping back into the assignment he had been given. He began leading retreats for successful businessmen, seeing people set free, watching the power of God show up in real and undeniable ways.

Then COVID hit. Then his marriage ended. Then false accusations from family members landed him in a two-year court battle with frozen bank accounts, starting over once again from zero.

But through all of it — every loss, every betrayal, every time the ground gave way — what Trevor discovered is that no system, no circumstance, and no person could take away what God had built inside him. His identity. His sonship. His ability to hear the Father clearly and move with confidence regardless of what was happening around him.

Bridgett's Story

Bridgett grew up in the church and spent years as a leader and pastor, eventually earning her master's degree in marriage and family therapy from seminary. From the outside she was equipped, trained, and doing everything right.

Then her son died at birth. And her husband lost his mind to mental illness.

In a single season she lost her child, her marriage, and the life she had carefully built. Most people would have collapsed under the weight of it. Instead Bridgett sold everything she owned, packed herself and her dogs into a converted camper van, and hit the road — searching for answers, searching for God, and refusing to settle for anything less than what His word promised was possible.

It was lonely. It was isolating. There were stretches where God felt increasingly silent and the road ahead felt impossibly uncertain. But somewhere in that wilderness — stripped of every title, every role, every version of herself that had been shaped by other people's expectations — she found what she had been looking for all along. Not a new plan. Not a better strategy. Herself. Her real self. The woman God had always known before the world got its hands on her.

She didn't just survive the wilderness. She came alive in it. She embraced her true identity, her voice, and her purpose — unapologetically, fully, without asking permission — and discovered that the power she had been searching for outside of herself had been living inside her the whole time.

That's when she met Trevor. And everything that had been forged separately in each of them finally came together.

Today they are married, raising a beautiful son, and building something they believe the world has been waiting for.

Two paths, one mission.

When we found each other we also found the mission — fully formed, perfectly aligned, and bigger than either of us could have built alone. The Identity Restoration Movement was born from two people who had been through hell and come out on the other side not just surviving but transforming. Not just knowing the theory but living it. Not just reading about sonship but walking in it.

We haven't written books, created resources, and led others from a place of theory. We've lived what we preach. And we've learned — sometimes the hard way — that the single most important thing a person can do is know who they actually are in God — not the domesticated, system-approved version they were handed — but the raw, uncontainable truth of who He made them to be. Most people have never been shown that version of themselves because the religious institution was never built to produce it.

The 13th Tribe is.

The transformation we've witnessed

When people go through this work they become a more powerful, confident, and courageous version of themselves. More pure and true to who God always created them to be. They walk with God and others more intimately than they ever have before. They begin seeing the world through a completely different lens — where lack doesn't exist and abundance isn't just around them, it's inside them. They get free from shame, confusion, self-doubt, and obligation to anything other than the Lord's voice, plans, and purposes for their life.

People become empowered. And empowered people turn the world upside down.

YOU are who we built this for.

We're not here because we figured everything out. We're here because we went through everything — and on the other side of it found a revelation of the kingdom, of the Father, and of who we are as sons and daughters that we couldn't keep to ourselves.

Since building this together we've faced attacks from every side. Family and friends who disowned us. Business partners who betrayed us. People who stole from us. And through all of it one thing has proven itself true over and over again — we are better together.

We never could have survived what we've been through without each other. That's not just our motto. It's the testimony of our marriage and the foundation of everything we build.

And we believe it's true for the Outliers too.

The remnant was never meant to be scattered. It was meant to be united — equipped and aligned for works of service to the King in the perilous days we are living in now and the days still to come before Jesus returns. That's why everything we build points toward one thing — uniting and equipping the Outliers. So that no one has to walk the narrow road alone or unequipped anymore.
